Warrington District Camera Club - Next Meeting
Show Your Images (Member's Work Night)
Monday 27th 2020 - 7:45pm - 9:30pm
As we are yet to finalise next year's programme, let us know if there are any guest speakers or topics that you would like us to try and secure.
Our fourth and final club competition of the year and the theme is "Shallow Depth Of Field". Your photograph can be on any subject you wish, colour or black and white, but your image should make creative use of a "shallow depth of field".
A basic definition of depth of field is: the zone of acceptable sharpness within a photo that will appear in focus. In every picture there is a certain area of your image in front of, and behind the subject that will appear in focus. Some images may have very small zones of focus which is called shallow depth of field.
Please note, we are still looking for a new Chairperson for the committee for the longer term. Alan Dean will stand in as "caretaker manager" from the AGM until a replacement is found.
We are also still looking for general committee members to help spread the workload of running the club. If you have some time to spare and are willing to be involved, please approach one of the existing committee members on any club night, or respond to this newsletter.
