Club News

Ian and Bernard have managed to resecure the services of guest judges and speakers for new dates, so our programme is taking shape. You will notice the forthcoming events in the near future are now all settled and visible in the sidebar and on the events page. Over the coming days the entire programme will be rebuilt and visible on the website.

The last scheduled committee meeting of the year took place on Monday 16th January. Top of the agenda was the aforementioned scheduling mishap. It appears as though when we were setting this years programme (12-18 months ago) we took a 3 week break over Christmas and New Year. This had the effect of offsetting our program by a week, causing a clash with the Art Club.

As those of you whom attended tonight will know, there has been a scheduling mishap for the club events.

We usually alternate Monday nights with the Art Group who meet in the weeks between the Photography Club meetings.

Somehow we have both managed to book the same Monday's throughout 2016. This was likely our fault as we adjusted our schedule to settle around the Bank Holidays in a better fashion.

The latest club committee meeting was held on Monday 14th November and resulted in the following :-

We have taken on board the feedback into the proposed competition topics for next year, and have dropped the proposed "no editing / straight out of camera" competition and replaced it with "Warrington" to help fuel our efforts to fill the St Rocco's Calendar. Further details will be made available once the proposals for the year are fleshed out.
